“Wine Festive Masterclass: sweet and bubbly wines, introduction for Port & Cigar tasting”
Sweet Wines i.e. Botrytis Semillon, Risling Eiswen & Tokaji Aszu along with a discussion on Champagne and the great Non-Champagne Sparkling Wines. Fine Port and Cigars.
Angling Masterclasses
Hosted by angling expert Noel Molloy, the Masterclass will teach game angling at its very best, with Wild Atlantic Salmon and Brown Trout angling guaranteed to exhilarate both beginners and experts alike. In addition to Noel’s expertise, participants will benefit from the unique experience of the beats of the River Nore and the Kings River, which deliver the sort of yield that many anglers crave.
The comprehensive course, held over two and a half days, will cover all aspects of Angling, including reel and fly demonstrations. As well as learning top tips and unique skills from Noel, participants will also get the chance to enjoy fishing the River Nore at their leisure.
Golf Masterclasses for Ladies.
The Golf Masterclasses for ladies is hosted by PGA Professional Sean Cotter, are suitable for the beginner golfer and also for the advanced golfer, looking to progress to the next level. |

Cookery & Food Masterclasses
How to prepare fish and meat dishes for a successful dinner extravaganza.
The masterclass, perfect for those wanting to be deemed the dinner party God or Goddess, will comprise of demonstrations focusing on a variety of
meat and fish dishes that will be of benefit to anyone giving dinner parties at home as well as sharing tips and tricks of the trade on to make a dinner
party truly successful. The demonstrations will be followed by a hands on
session, so guests can really get to grips with what they've learned.
"Introduction to Fusion Food"
The masterclass, perfect for those wanting to pick up a few diverse cooking skills, will be a demonstration introduction to fusion, incorporating the history of fusion dishes from the Pacific Rim. There will be demonstrations followed.
Masterclass 3 : Nov, 10th & 11th Nov.
“Winter season: introduction to game cooking”
Spread over Monday 10th and Tuesday 11th November, Mount Juliet Conrad will host an introduction to game cooking from master chef Eugene, presenting tips and creative recipes using various game meats. The demonstrations will be followed by a hands-on session.
Masterclass 4: Dec, 1st & 2nd.
“Traditional and Modern Christmas dishes”
Hosted on the 1st and 2nd of December, this annual Masterclass will feature Eugene Mc Sweeney presenting traditional and modern dishes as well as sharing tips and tricks of the trade to create a successful festive meal. The participants will have the opportunity to test their skills in a practical working kitchen at the end of the 2nd day.
Course cost: €430 for Single occupancy or €350 based on 2 people sharing.
Prices include overnight Bed & Breakfast in the Hunter’s Yard, a light lunch on both days, 3 cookery demonstrations, pre-dinner drinks with Dinner and wine pairing in the Lady Helen dining room, an estate tour and the practical cookery session.
